I have done some in-gear deceleration, not a lot though. I only did 3 bumps becuase I thought that was all that was needed, although I see that 5-7 seconds of cranking is normal for checking compression. Next time I'll crank it a little longer. Thanks for the advice guys, I'll check again around 800 miles and see where I'm at.
